Lockheed F-117 Stealth Fighter          

The F-117 was developed to attack high value targets without being detected by hostile detection systems. The first F-117A flew in June 1981, and the first F-117A unit, the 4450th Tactical Group, became operational in 1983. The F-117A was first used in combat in December 1989. In Operation Desert Storm, F-117s flew 1,271 sorties without losses or battle damage.
