Wright Patterson obtained this P-51D from the West Virginia Air National Guard in 1957. It was the last propeller driven fighter assigned to a USAF tactical unit. It is painted as the model flown by Col. CL Sluder, CO of the 325th Fighter Group, 15th Air Force, in Italy in 1944. Its name is based on the names of Col. Sluder's daughter and wife; Sharon and Zimmy.
