About the photos:
All these shots were done with a Canon 5D digital camera. We used a Canon 17-40 mm f/4 zoom (photos 2, 3, 5, 8) and a Canon 28 mm f/2.8 prime lens (remainder). We shot photo 1 at about 15 minutes after sunset to get some blue in the sky while avoiding the otherwise direct sunlight that entered this west-facing room (1/2 second, f/7.1). The walls and ceiling were lit with four Paul Buff/ White Lightning UltraZap 1600 strobes with Photoflex soft boxes and large umbrellas. We used similar lighting for all the other photos except for number 2, which was lit only by the owner's installed tungsten lighting.
